Vino Vault Expands Los Angeles Wine Storage Network With Third Acquisition

LOS ANGELES, January 6, 2022— Vino Vault, which recently acquired two well-known wine storage establishments in Los Angeles (The Best Cellar and The Wine Hotel), has now acquired a third wine storage company, The Wine Locker, in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles. Angeles.

Since its launch, Vino Vault has actively built a network of wine storage locations. This includes updating all security and temperature control systems in warehouses that it acquires to a consistent leading standard. This spring, the company will also be rolling out a new inventory management application for customers and is planning additional network-wide services for members.

Vino Vault’s latest acquisition, The Wine Locker, a beloved mainstay of local wine collectors since its founding in 1977, was one of Los Angeles’ first private wine rack warehouses and acted both as a secure storage site as well as a community of collectors for its members, who enjoyed wine dinners and informal meetings where members were able to share and talk about their wines together. Cindy Jason, owner and operator of The Wine Locker, plans to continue this social tradition even as Vino Vault takes over commercial operations.

“The tenants of Wine Locker are what makes it special – and that’s why we’ve been doing this for 44 years,” said Cindy Jason, owner of The Wine Locker. “But I think that with the leadership of Vino Vault and their vision for all the new things they want to build and do for our tenants, they can make The Wine Locker even better.”

Customers, such as those at The Wine Locker, will now have access to elite services previously only available to private a la carte concierge customers. This will allow wine self-storage customers to have wines sent to second homes, to deliver them locally, to have their collections inventoried and analyzed at home or in lockers and also to have access to sales services. wine or auction management.

“The Wine Locker is a great example of the kind of open and friendly wine collecting community we want to create across the Vino Vault network,” said Jeff Anthony, CEO of Vino Vault. “Our product roadmap is to transform storage customers into a community of members who love to share their passion for collecting wine. There is a lot we can learn from what Cindy has built here that can make wine collecting more enjoyable for collectors around the world.

This is Vino Vault’s third acquisition in less than a year and the company is currently in talks with several other potential acquisitions in the United States and Europe.
