Game Tips for Figment 2: Creed Valley
As you begin to feel the controls in Figment 2: Creed Valley, you’ll also begin to encounter increasingly difficult enemies. If you play in single player mode, you will control Dusty. The green bar on the left of the screen represents your health, and you can recharge it by collecting green stamina orbs.
One of the first things to keep in mind is that these stamina orbs don’t always need to be picked up immediately. If you get into a fight and you already have good health, leave them alone in case you take damage and need to heal after the fight.
Another crucial achievement is that you can advance through certain attacks without taking damage. While boss battles with a larger area of effect can make this difficult, individual enemies shooting at you can be exploited. You’ll often need to close the gap with ranged enemies, and advancing through their attacks can help you get close enough to unleash a flurry of strikes.
If you’re playing in companion mode, the second player controlling Piper won’t be running things. However, Piper has some significant advantages, including the lack of a health bar. While Piper’s attacks are a bit slower, she can often approach enemies sooner and start draining their health while Dusty stays out of dodge.
Finally, one big thing you’ll need in Figment 2: Creed Valley is patience. Whether it’s navigating a puzzle or engaging in a tough boss battle, sometimes the best thing to do is to avoid damage and wait for an opening. If you rush it can often be disastrous.
We’ll know more about the Figment 2: Creed Valley challenges when the full game is available, but for now, these controls and tips will help you get by in the game’s demo. You can find more updates on the continued development of the title by follow Bedtime Digital Games on Twitter.
