Linux Mint KDE Community Edition or better known as simply Linux Mint KDE, is a GNU/Linux distribution based on Kubuntu. Linux Mint KDE, just like Linux Mint, has been built for out of the box usability coming complete with Flash and other media codecs. Linux Mint KDE is compatible with Ubuntu repositories.

[edit] Differences With Linux Mint (Main Edition)

Obviously, Linux Mint KDE replaces the GNOME Desktop Environment with KDE. Unlike Kubuntu, Linux Mint KDE is nearly the exact same as the main edition with nearly the complete same software sets. It doesn't use MintMenu, however, but uses TastyMenu.

[edit] Release Cycles

Linux Mint KDE is generally released about 2 months after the main edition. However, just like the main edition, there is no set release schedule.
